Krone und Banden

Matthieu,
... "IF" this really was the seal of "Posch",
I would kick the ass of the engraver from here to Timbuktu ,
even if I would have to dig him out of his grave!
He made too many mistakes,
I am just wondering why "Posch" would have accepted such lousy work!
I wouldn't have sealed with a "Bear",
that looks identical to a "Chicken in the Pot"
...or "Barney the Dinosaur"

Hi Matthieu,
....sorry I didn't write, because I can't always be the only one
to write and I wanted to give others the chance to post a comment!
I also don't see myself as important
There is nothing wrong with this "seal",
I would have depicted the bear a little different, but at least
you can see that it is a "bear"!
Best regards,
Frank

Hello.
This seal is very interesting. I am conducting some researches on the von Posch family. Do you own this seal ? Do you have any other items regarding this family ?
What I can tell you about the crown is that it is still used in this form (5 branches) on some more recent rings held by the descendants of Johann Adam.
Thanks

Vielen dank !
